Kelly L. Stone
 Kelly L. Stone has been writing since she was six-years-old. Her first published works were poems and short essays on the children's page of a newspaper in Gulf Breeze, Florida.
Since then she has published nonfiction essays in Chicken Soup for the Sister's Soul, Chicken Soup to Inspire Body & Soul, Chicken Soup for the Soul Celebrates Cats, Cup of Comfort for Inspiration, Cup of Comfort for Sisters, Cup of Comfort for Mothers & Daughters, and The Rocking Chair Reader: Memories from the Attic.
Her articles have appeared in Family Circle, Inspire Your World, Live Steam, Fitness Plus, and others. She has articles scheduled to appear in 2006 in Cat Fancy and Writer's Digest. She writes a monthly parenting column for a regional publication in Atlanta.
Kelly earned a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Florida State University and is licensed as a professional counselor in Georgia. She lives in a suburb of Atlanta with four rescued cats and three rescued dogs, and spends some of her time assisting animal rescue groups. Kelly is a member of The American Society of Journalists and Authors and the Georgia Writers Association.
