Elisabeth spent the formative years of her life in Kennewick, WA, where she inherited a love of reading from her mother. She attended Central Washington University, from which she received a degree in psychology.

Ian grew up in a much smaller town in Washington State. His older brother taught him to read one Christmas as a present to their parents. He has published around two-dozen short stories in print and on the web. He also maintains the itty-bitty press Saltboy Bookmakers at http://www.saltboy.com. He graduated from Whitworth College in Spokane, WA, with a degree in creative writing.
