Judith R. Parker is the author of numerous short stories as well as the novels The House Sitter, Winter Kill, Twist of Terror and Missing. She is a retired teacher and CFO. Prior to her retirement, her published writing consisted of "boring stuff" such as articles on accounting. She used to love to travel, go camping, hike, and horseback ride, but she is currently into more sedentary pursuits; just reading and writing. Parker makes her home on five acres on the side of a ridge in the central Cascades of Washington State with her husband, two dogs and six cats. She is a member of the Mystery Writers of America and Sisters-in-Crime.
